MONDAY - Grandaddy left early this morning and Mr. Smith had his first day at work in about 7 months, and his first day as a civilian at work in over twenty years. As soon as he was there he bumped into Tershia, Chris, Molly, Wallace and Tom and they all had lunch. Tershia and Tina have been here a few weeks and the lads have just arrived.
The boys and I hung out and played tennis, then we went out to TGI Fridays to meet them for dinner. It was so nice to see everyone again, it was a mini digby night out! Chris had bought the boys some Cadbury's chocolate as we can't get it here. Tony had bought me some veggie gravy granules and most importantly some MARMITE!! Food of the Gods!
Unfortunately his luggage got lost! How bloody rude was that of the airline! Do they know who I am? Although seriously, I hope poor Tony's luggage arrives for him soon.
After Friday's they came back to the apartment for a cup of tea and a beer!
I'm so glad we saw them. It was so nice to have a little bit of home!!!!
