Thursday, did the grocery shopping for Saturday's bbq, guest list growing by the hour! I can't wait! We are going with a Cinco De Mayo theme. Some of you will remember we did that at Digby, no sombreros this time! But lots of frozen Margaritas!
Friday, went to the PTO brunch that the school hold to thank all their volunteer helpers and PTO members. It was a big affair! I couldnt park at the school, but had to on the street outside. The gym was filled with parents, there was a huge buffet table with brunch- scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, cookies, fruit salad, juice, coffee. The kids had all made cards and thank you place mats and the choir sang a few numbers. How big a deal is a PTO over here? This year the boys school PTO made $50,000. Yep fifty thousand, my finger didn't slip on the zero key!
