Well, Princess seems to be settling in ok

although I have kept a bit quiet about her for the last week because we weren't sure if we were going to keep her. Sadly she is so nervous of different people she growls when she first meets them, which is awful when its kids. She is so great with our family and loves the boys! She licks them to pieces and lets them roll all over her, but if your not one of this family, she is really nervous at first. I know its to be expected but it's not something I want in a dog.
Nancy, her foster mum from the Humane Society has been great and is always calling to check and see if she can help. She bought Gerry over to our house, to watch and asses Princess. Gerry trains police dogs for Columbia County police dept. and he spent some time with her and watched her meeting new people. He told us in his opinion she will be fine, she is nervous not aggressive.
What else has happened? Alex had his first middle school dance, and another class with his acting and modelling. While he was busy we had another great afternoon at Fort Discovery, where we have booked Jordan his 9th Birthday Party.
