Well, it's been a busy week after a disastrous start! The Joneses flight to Atlanta left Gatwick two hours late and so they missed their connection to Augusta. They were then
put on standby for three other flights, before their flight was finally canceled. At midnight! After 10 hours at Atlanta Airport, they were finally released and Mr. Smith drove to pick them up. They finally got to the house at 0430, Wednesday morning. The next day it was raining and there was a HUGE thunderstorm! Things were not looking good!
Fortunately after the rain storm, the sun came out and the mad Brits all rushed up to the pool for a swim. Surprisingly we were the only ones there.

Monday 9th July

Wendy, Dave and Lisa came over for dinner. I probably won't see Wend and Dave again till I'm back in England, as they are leaving this Friday. Met Lisa for the first time. She is just here for two weeks. She and Ethan hit it off big time!

Fort Discovery - Last afternoon

We thought we would visit Fort Discovery and go straight to the airport to drop off Mum and Dad, to stop everyone watching the clock and getting upset. Hells Granny hit the Gyro Cycle. Mum and Dad tried to figure out a few things. Alex hanging around in the Gyro Sphere!

Last Day

Last day of Mum and Dad's holiday. Mimi left about 10.30, after the boys tried to hitch aride in the back of her truck!

Last night at Miyabi Kyoto

Last night with Mum, Dad and Mimi, Mr. Smiths Mum, and went to
a Japanese Steak House and we had a great meal!

Week Two!

It's week two of Nanny and Grandads visit, we came back from Disney and spent the next day running around shopping, and having lunch at the library. A nice relaxing dinner at home for a change.
Wednesday - 4th July. Took the kids to the pool for games and had a bbq at home. We were going to fireworks at Patriots Park, but felt very tired so the kids had some sparklers then Mr Smith took them to some fireworks.
On Friday, Mr Smith's mum, Mimi arrived and we went out to Pizza Joint for dinner.

Speeding Barbie

So..there I am, driving to Florida to take the boys to Disney, on a completely empty road, and I suppose my speed may have crept up a bit!
I was only clocked by a cop at doing 78 mph in a 55mph zone,but as Mr Smith told me AFTERWARDS, that 25 mph over the limit is reckless driving, and I was 23 mph over the limit! Thanks Smith!
With blue lights flashing in my mirror, I pulled over, flicked my hair, pushed up my bra and practised my flirty giggle.. only to find to my dismay and horror................it was a woman cop!
$215 dollars later ..........
From then on I was known as speeding Barbie for the rest of the weekend.
