Lights of the South

There is a wonderful Christmas light display here called Lights Of The South. It is acres of Christmas lights in every formation you can think of! all the nursery rhymes, Superheroes, children's biblical stories, Disney movies, animals, Christmas tales. You name it, they got it!! We travelled around in a Hayride to cover all the displays. They also have Santa's house for a visit, and giant fire pits to roast marshmallows over. We went with Nat and Jon and Nat's mum and dad, Jean and Ken, who were visiting. On the way home we stopped at Mi Rancho for some yummy mexican food.

Christmas flowers from Jen and Martin

Lovely surprise just before Christmas. Jen knew I was feeling odd about being here for Christmas and so her and Mart sent us some lovely flowers. You can't see them, but there were red, white and green peppermint candy canes in amongst the flowers.
