All Stars Tournament
Saturday 10th was the All-Stars soccer tournament. Sadly Alex's team didn't get through to the finals, but the sun shone and it was a great match.
I spent the afternoon at Bev's where we tried home-made Cosmopolitans. Later we watched Ratatouille and chilled. It was a bit cold for camping and Mr. Smith's back was hurting so we didn't join T.J., Gail, Gina and Mike at the lake. That might be the last opportunity for camping till the spring now.

Poker Night and Princess is ours!
Princess is finally ours, we officially adopted her on Sunday. Nancy came round and we signed papers. The night before, Mr Smith threw a poker night. Three of the guys here on a course from Digby, Paul, Scott and Dinger- came over and Larry, Duane and Nicholas came also to play poker. Which meant I got to sit and drink with Susan, Bev and Christina!! Good times!
Life Goes On
Well life has been bobbing along. The boys soccer has been fantastic! Alex has been scouted for the U12 All Stars Team. He has a week of training , a weekend tournament, and if his team wins they will go to the State Finals. We are so proud of him. Ethan has scored 43 goals in 9 games!
Last weekend we just hung out with the kids. On Saturday Alex had an acting class, Jordan went Go-Karting with Mr. Smith and Ethan and I went to the movies to see Ratatouille. When we got there we realised it was only 99cents!!! Bonus!
On Sunday we played Soccer, Crazy Golf, had ice-cream treats and movies at home. The weather has been anywhere between 70 and 80 degrees and its really nice to still be in t-shirts but not sweltering to death.
